Mr. Allen G. Vandersluis is the founding principal of AAXIS Architecture Inc. He has a passion for music, a love for the arts, architecture & architectural design. Allen graduated from the University of Miami in 1999, with a Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Minor in Music. “Design is like music, there is always an opportunity to incorporate a melodic rhythm in an architectural composition; the ability and potential to be creative are infinite.”
Allen is currently licensed to practice Architecture in Florida and is a LEED AP accredited professional. He currently holds a Certificate and has been a member for several years with the National Council of Registration Boards. This ongoing professional membership enables him to have unlimited access to professional development, reciprocity for licensure in many states and provides access to pertinent industry knowledge.
After Graduating from the University of Miami, Allen worked from 1999 through 2005 at Revuelta Vega Leon, PA successfully on many large-scale & high-rise projects helping him grow into a key leader. From 2006 through 2018, he organized and successfully maintained his own architectural firm, AAXIS, working on a variety of small to large scale projects, local county projects & consultation services gaining valuable industry insight. From 2015 through 2018 Allen was employed with the firm Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, Inc., full time, assisting with various small to large scale projects; all while still maintaining part time work at AAXIS. Between 2018 & 2022, Allen through AAXIS, became one of three founding principals and owners; assisting principals Edgar Gonzalez & Eddie Seymour to develop and startup the firm Flux Architects. Finally, currently back with his own firm AAXIS, Allen can combine trending technology, with his meticulous conceptual design and comprehensive vision in building design to provide over 25 years of professional experience for our clients & their projects.
